Chris Rolls FRSA - Founder
Chris is the founder of Collective Sense. He has over twenty years experience in participatory arts, public engagement and community co-creation. He works with social sector organisations at different scales. In 2020/21 he was a public engagement consultant to producers at Coventry City of Culture 2021.
From 2017 to 2023, Chris was Head of Training & Development for 64 Million Artists. Here he developed a range of highly-regarded training courses on community engagement, co-creation and cultural inclusion.
In 2022 he co-authored a report for the University of Warwick, commissioned by the Arts & Humanities Research Council on Reasons to Cocreate.
Chris is also a UKCP-registered psychotherapist working in private practice with individuals and groups in Hastings, East Sussex.

Chris tells the tale of the 6 and a half years he's been with the organisation - from his favourite memories of facilitating community groups and what makes a psychologically safe space to how his favourite way to get creative has changed over time. As Chris moves on from the organisation, we use this conversation to reflect on the incredible work he's done and the legacy he leaves at 64 Million Artists.
